An Gailearaí Beag is a showcase for the West Kerry Crafts Guild, a non-profit organisation founded in 1999 bringing together crafts people and artists living on the Dingle Peninsula. Whether you are looking for a gift or something special for your home, An Gailearaí Beag provides inspiring ideas of unique local arts and crafts.

Sa ghailearaí seo tá obair bhaill Chuallacht Céardaíochta Chorca Dhhuibhne ar thaispeáint don bpobal. Tháinigh na baill le chéile, idir ealaíontóirí agus cheardaithe, chun margaíocht a dhéanamh ar a saothar. Tá gach rud atá lé fail sa ghailearaí déanta go háitiúil i gCorca Dhuibhne- an leithinis is faide siar san Eoraip. Níl áit níos fearr chun bua céardaíochta mhuintir na leithinse seo a bhlaiseadh.

Fiona Wood

Fiona and Jazz Wood are stained glass artists who live and work at Cloonsharragh, a hamlet between Cloghane and Brandon on the North side of the Dingle Peninsula. Their studio overlooks Brandon Bay and is surrounded by Stradbally, Beenoskee and Brandon Mountains.

Fiona and Jazz specialise in producing glass work that reflects the area. All of their designs are original, incorporating the flowers and scenery of the bay. Fuschias, flag irises, calla lilies, celtic knotwork designs and the mountains are the inspirations for their windows, light-catchers, lamps and mirrors. The watery landscape of Kerry, the sandstone of the hills and the ever-changing light of the skies are captured in the beauty of stained glass.

Visitors are always welcome at our studio to watch us work. If you are looking for something unique as a gift or for your home we are experienced at working with clients in producing quality, original pieces.
